OnePlus is working on new high-end true wireless earbuds. The OnePlus Buds Pro debuted in August last year, so we’ll probably see their successors appear very soon.

Today some specs for the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have leaked from a usually reliable source. They are said to show two audio drivers per gem, one 11mm and one 6mm, similar to Oppo’s Enco X2. They also support the high-resolution LHDC 4.0 codec and spatial audio.

Active noise cancellation will apparently increase up to 45 dB and be adaptive based on current noise levels in the surrounding environment. Each headset has three microphones for better voice quality during calls.

With ANC on, we can expect the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to last up to 6 hours on a charge and 22 hours with the case. If you turn off the ANC, those numbers increase to 9 hours and 38 hours, respectively.

The case will support wireless charging, while a ten-minute recharge of the gems will earn you 3 hours of use. Other features include support for Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.2. The gems will be IP55 rated for dust and water resistance. OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be offered in white, black and green.
