Xiaomi’s latest smart wearables are here with the Watch S1 Pro and Buds 4 Pro launched in China. Watch S1 Pro joins Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active with a larger screen, larger battery, and two color options. Buds 4 Pro offers high-resolution audio, LHDC 4.0 support, and active noise cancellation.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro
Watch S1 Pro comes with a stainless steel casing and is water resistant to 5 ATM. It gets a 1.47-inch AMOLED with 480 x 480px resolution, 600 nit peak brightness, and sapphire crystal protection.
Watch S1 Pro offers all the usual health and activity monitoring features, including heart rate and SpO2 sensors, as well as sleep and stress monitoring. You get a total of 117 fitness modes, as well as a microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calling from the watch. The watch also offers dual-band GPS and Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The battery is rated at 500mAH, which Xiaomi says should be enough for 14 days of typical use and 10 days of heavy use.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro in black and silver
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro will be available in black and silver colors for CNY 1,499 ($ 222). Open sales are already underway in China although no details have been provided for the global launch.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro had success with last year’s Buds 3T Pro as the high-end wireless earbuds in the manufacturer’s range. Key specs include 11mm dynamic drivers, ANC connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3. Buds 4 Pro supports SBC / AAC / LHDC 4.0 codecs and 96kHz HD audio output.
There are three microphones on each earbud, including a bone speech sensor for optimal voice reception. The buds also support dual device pairing and feature pressure sensitive stems that allow the user to control music playback and other functions. Battery life is rated at 9 hours with ANC off and 38 hours with the charging case. The case and earphones are IP54 water and dust resistant.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro are available in black and gold and retail for CNY 1,099 ($ 163). Open sales in China are already underway. Xiaomi has not disclosed any information about a global launch for now.
