A new relationship has emerged from Klabb Galaxy with the test of a new trio of smartwatches all codenamed “Heart”. It has not been confirmed whether “Heart” is the actual codename for the unreleased Galaxy Watch 5, but the newly emerged codenames Heart-S, Heart-L, and Heart-Pro with a previous report that there would be a variant Pros of Samsung’s next smartwatch.

According to the report, it appears that Samsung is looking to change its strategy with the Galaxy Watch. The Galaxy Watch4 is available in regular and “Classic” variants, but the Galaxy Watch Active2 is overdue for a successor. It’s possible the Active wearable line will be ditched for a more unified smartwatch offering.

The Heart-S is the smaller 40mm or 42mm version with the model number SM-R90X. Meanwhile, Heart-L is a larger version which is 44mm or 46mm with model number SM-R19X. Finally, Heart-Pro is a codename that confirms last month’s report and exists in only one dimension.

The report does not confirm that these are actually Galaxy Watch 5 models, and we still don’t know what the final naming scheme of Samsung’s new smartwatches will be.

Last month’s report revealed that the high-end Galaxy Watch5 model will come with a 572mAh battery, a significant step up from the Watch4 models. Either way, Samsung isn’t expected to announce a new Galaxy Watch until the end of the year, likely during its annual Unpacked event, normally in August.
