As we have seen from the Google Play Console, the vivo V25 Pro (V2158) will be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. This is now also confirmed by a Geekbench 5 scorecard.

The benchmarked drive had 12GB of RAM, we previously heard of an 8GB configuration, so there will be options. And it will definitely have the virtual RAM feature that has become so popular lately (for example, the vivo Y35 will offer 8 + 8GB, so the virtual RAM capacity will be the same as the actual RAM). The phone ran Android 12, as expected.

The GPC also revealed that the vivo V25 Pro will have an FHD + (1,080 x 2,376 px) display. This will be an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, presumably (the GPC doesn’t say that). Additionally, unconfirmed rumors suggest that the phone will feature 66W fast charging. The back will repeat the V23 series color change trick.

The vivo V25 Pro will reportedly be equipped with a triple camera, including a 64MP main module. On the front there should be a 32MP selfie camera with OIS and EIS, similar to last year’s V21 phones.

The V25 Pro is expected to launch in India on August 17th for less than ₹ 40,000 ($ 505 / € 495). As for the vanilla vivo V25 (V2202), it will instead use the slower Dimensity 900 chipset and be part of the same launch.
