Motorola India teased the arrival of the Razr 40 series earlier this month, but it’s only now that the company has revealed the exact date: July 3, between ten days and a month after the teaser.
Motorola’s local branch has updated the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra pages to list the launch date. There are no pre-orders yet, so we don’t know the prices for the two foldouts (those have never been announced). However, you can register your email for updates.

There is also a landing page on Amazon. There are no prices here either. For reference, the 2020 Razr 5G cost ₹125,000. However, that was a whopping $1,400 in the US while the Razr 40 Ultra is just $1,000, so the 2023 model should be cheaper. Naturally, the Vanilla Razr 40 should still be cheaper.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is already available in select regions that the Razr 40 has yet to reach. A Czech retailer lists July 21 as the ship date for the vanilla model.
