Earlier this month, Tecno announced that it will attend MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, to unveil a new Pova phone, a robot dog, a flagship laptop, and an AR games set. Now we learn that the brand will also unveil its new “AI-powered” imaging system at MWC next week called Tecno PolarAce.
Tecno says that despite advances in mobile imaging systems, traditional SoCs lack the computing power to deliver great video, and current solutions struggle to produce smooth, high-quality footage at night. They also have limited full-scene HDR capabilities, and Tecno aims to address these with the PolarAce imaging system.
PolarAce is Tecno’s first imaging system that features an independent imaging chip and leverages artificial intelligence to enable “industry-redefining videography capture.” It will debut in the upcoming Camon 30 series to bring a “new pinnacle of mobile video imaging to users around the world.”
