The Oppo A97 that emerged last week is now official. It is powered by the Dimensity 810 SoC and immediately runs the Android 12-based ColorOS 12. The A97 comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, and you also have the option to expand the RAM practically up to 19GB using the internal memory of the smartphone.
The Oppo A97 packs a 6.6 “FullHD + 90Hz LCD with a notch for the 12 MP selfie camera. On the back, we find a 48 MP main camera combined with a 2 MP depth unit. whole package there is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
The rest of the highlights of the Oppo A97 include 5G connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Dirac-tuned stereo speakers.
The Oppo A97 is available in blue and black colors and is priced at CNY 2,099 ($ 312 / € 311) in China. You can pre-book it via Oppo’s official Chinese website or JD.com, with the latter selling it for 2,299 CNY ($ 341 / € 340) for some reason. Shipments begin on July 15, but there is no news on availability in other markets.
