The Samsung Galaxy S22 series was the first to receive the stable version of One UI 5, many other Galaxy models will be leaving beta soon and will also update to Android 13. Here is the timeline of those updates: virtually all Galaxy S devices and eligible Z (phones and tablets) will be updated later this year, as will a good number of Galaxy A devices.

This will leave some Tab A slates, low-end Galaxy A models, and some rugged devices to update in the first two months of 2023. Note that this timeline is from South Korea, exact timing of releases in other regions may differ.

Below is the complete list, divided by month:

One phone is conspicuously absent and it is the Galaxy S21 FE. Seeing how the S20 FE is on the list, it should only be a matter of time before it even gets One UI 5.

Note that the original source from Korea does not fully clarify the situation for some models that have both 4G and 5G varieties, but this is due to regional availability, for example the Galaxy A23 5G is not available in the country, only the 4G model is . Also, operator versions of devices may experience delays in getting Android 13.

Still, Samsung deserves a pat on the back: Google shut down Android 13 in mid-August, and just over two months later some Galaxy are already making the leap. The time to update has really gone down over the past couple of years.
