Mediatek is expected to launch the Dimensity 9300 with a unique octa-core CPU and today the platform has appeared on AnTuTu’s database. The SoC recorded a result of over 2 million, a new high, and the scores for each individual component are also noteworthy.

The CPU will have 4 Cortex-X4 and 4 Cortex-A720 units, probably in a 1+3+4 cluster combination. There are no “small” Cortex-A520 units.

Mediatek Dimensity 9300 jidher fuq AnTuTu b'riżultati rekord

The device used in this test is unknown and the model number tells us nothing: it could be a test bed. It was tested with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while the operating system is Android 14.

This achievement is the first time we’ve seen a phone cross the 2,000,000 mark on AnTuTu. Every component is far superior to any Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 result: CPU is 65% better, GPU is 55% better, LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.0 storage is 33% faster, while the UX has a score higher than 50%.

All of these numbers represent the raw performance of the hardware. The actual experience is unlikely to be that dramatically different, unless you get some suitably impressive cooling. Mediatek has yet to announce when the Dimensity 9300 will arrive and which phones will get it first.
