Pixel 8 will bring a 6.17-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a refresh rate of 120 hours. The display panel will reportedly measure 64 x 143mm and have greater corner curvature at 102px compared to its predecessor’s 47px. Furthermore, we have confirmation that the display will be able to reduce the refresh rate to 10Hz, 30Hz or 60Hz depending on the scenario. The smaller Pixel will have a peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits when displaying HDR content.

The Pixel 8 Pro is said to bring a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1,344 x 2,992px and a 120Hz refresh rate. Like its non-Pro sibling, the Pixel 8 Pro will feature higher corner curvature that brings the pixel-per-inch countdown to 490 ppi on the Pixel 8 Pro compared to 512 ppi on the Pixel 7 Pro. Maximum brightness in HDR mode is rated at 1,600 nits, and the display will be able to drop the refresh rate down to 5Hz to save battery.
