The lost child is a new world mission that was added in Sumeru aġġornament in Impatt Genshin and it is also the final research in the Encounter in the Woods: Aranyaka Quest series in which you will have to rescue a child named Lotham who is trapped in the wilt zone. On the Aranyaka Quest Line you will mainly witness Żrinġ, a Forest Guardian who is responsible for forest care, in her efforts to help the village of Vimara. How to unlock The Lost Child World mission in Genshin Impact
You will have to delete both The children of the village of Vimara u In the wood world missions first to unlock this mission. Follow the guidelines below to start and finish the mission: The Lost Child.
- After the previous Into The Woods mission ends, you will unlock the new mission with a waypoint.
- Reach the opening of the cave, located on the south side of the village of Vimara. If you can’t find the cave in the overworld, go to Frog’s camp from the previous mission and then head to the marked spot, you should be able to see the spot from here.
- After entering the cave you should see a Blue Seele, approach it and it will show you the path. Along the way you will also find yourself in front of Fatuis, you will quickly defeat them and move on.
- In the inner cave, you will find Iotham sealed in a green sphere-like structure that can be broken by purifying the Withering Zone.
How to purify the withering area
Wilt zones are dangerous anomalies that kill every living organism in its surroundings. These areas will usually have three withered branches that corrupt the place with their menacing energy and attract various monsters who defend the corruption. To purify the area, you will have to destroy them with the help of the Dendrograna.
Summons a Dendrograna from a neighbor Dendrogranum and use your attacks loaded on the Withered branches to destroy them. The best way is to use a bow for this as you won’t be inflicted by multiple decay stacks from the Dreadful Withering. Each Dendrogranum will give you three charges which can be replenished by performing summon again. Defeat summoned monsters and help Rana in battle.
Save Lotham and Rana from the cave
After saving Lotham, head to the upper level of the cave and make sure you don’t teleport outside. She returns to the village of Vimara with the child and talks to Alphonso. Go back to the cave and look for Frog. Follow the clues to an opening outside the cave and then cross the river.
Go ahead and you should be able to see Rana in a similar green structure that sealed Iotham in the cave. Enter the log cabin and meet the mysterious forest creature Arana, who will give you another mission to save Frog from Withering.
After completing The Lost Child World Quest, you will unlock the next questline which is the Dream Nursery: Aranyaka Quest, which is the second part of Aranyaka’s main questline. Once The Lost Child mission is over, you will begin with the next world mission The World of Aranara.
