The Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi released a K50 Ultra smartphone in the summer of 2022, months later than the K50 and K50 Pro. New reports suggest that we will see a repeat with the K60 lineup as well.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is said to arrive in Q3 2023 with a Dimensity 9200 chipset and 100W fast charging – both specs are less impressive than the Redmi K60 Pro, casting questions on the credibility of the Ultra moniker.

The new phone’s specs aren’t quite an upgrade over the K50 Ultra either – it came with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 120W charging. What the K60 Ultra should bring along is a 6.67-inch OLED with 2712 x 1220 resolution and refresh rate up to 144Hz.
There is still a long time before the third quarter, as we are still in the first quarter of the year, and Redmi has other product launches to look forward to: one of them is a Redmi Note 12 Turbo with a large 5,500mAh battery with charging 67 W. and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset.
